Christ Gives Me Strength
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
This verse reminds us that with God’s strength and power, we are capable of accomplishing great things. But what does this mean in practical terms?
For starters, it means that we can approach our work with confidence and boldness, knowing that we have the support and guidance of God. We don’t have to be limited by our own abilities or circumstances, because we have access to the limitless power of God.
This verse also calls us to take action and step out in faith, even when we don’t feel capable or confident on our own. Whether it’s starting a new business, launching a new product, or pursuing a new opportunity, we can trust that with God’s help, we can achieve what we set out to do.
But it’s important to remember that this verse doesn’t mean that we can do anything we want, regardless of whether it aligns with God’s will. Rather, it means that as we seek to do God’s will and live according to His purpose, He will give us the strength and ability to accomplish what we need to do.
So, the practical application of this verse is to approach our work with a spirit of faith and trust in God. We should seek to align our goals and actions with His will and trust that He will provide the strength and guidance we need to achieve what we set out to do. And as we do so, we can find peace and confidence in the knowledge that we are not alone but have the support and power of God behind us.
BUT HE SAID TO ME, “MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, FOR MY POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS.” THEREFORE I WILL BOAST ALL THE MORE GLADLY OF MY WEAKNESSES, SO THAT THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST UPON ME. FOR THE SAKE OF CHRIST, THEN, I AM CONTENT WITH WEAKNESSES, INSULTS, HARDSHIPS, PERSECUTIONS, AND CALAMITIES. FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG.
