Commit

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.” Psalm 37:5-6

This verse reminds us to trust in God and to commit our ways to Him. When we surrender our plans and desires to God, He can work in our lives and bring about His will. As we trust in Him, God will reward us and bring about His justice in our lives.

We can apply this verse in our lives by surrendering our plans and desires to God. This can be challenging, as we often want to take control and make things happen on our own. However, when we trust in God and commit our ways to Him, He can work in our lives in ways that we cannot imagine. We can also trust that God will bring about justice and reward us for our faithfulness.

Prayer: Dear God, help us to trust in you and to commit our ways to you. We recognize that you are sovereign and that you know what is best for us. Give us the wisdom to surrender our plans and desires to you and to seek your will in all things. Help us to trust that you will reward us for our faithfulness and that you will bring about justice in our lives. Amen.
