In Christ: You Were Chosen Before Creation

In Christ Jesus you were chosen by God before creation. 2 Timothy 1:9 makes it clear that we are not saved by accident – “…This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.” We do not enter into a relationship with God based simply on our choosing, or any perceived rights we may think we have. God chose you before the beginning of time to know Him and to be, “In Christ!” How profound is that!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

Ephesians 1:3-6

Make no mistake. You are chosen. You are predestined. It is part of His Plan for you to be “In Christ.” This was no afterthought. God provided salvation through Jesus Christ -eternal life intentionally according to his plan!

This is so profound that most of us do not comprehend how much this means and how great a blessing this truly is:

• God chooses us.
• God provided a way for eternal life with Him.
• Being In Christ is not something we deserve; it is only by His grace.
• He did all this knowing full well what it would cost Him.
• Salvation was God’s plan.
• Eternal life is God’s plan.
• Being, “In Christ” is God’s plan for our lives!

This is a gift that is meant to be shared, who will you share this with today?
