Relationship + Faith = Boldness
Our boldness comes from our relationship with HIM – activated through FAITH
I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit, and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:16-17
When we accept Christ as our Savior and Lord, when we place our faith in Him, He gives us a new spirit, a new direction in life, and a new way!
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever! SINCE THIS NEW WAY GIVES US SUCH CONFIDENCE, WE CAN BE VERY BOLD. Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. 2 Corinthians 3:11-12
At the cross, Jesus has freed us from making our work about us and has given us the gospel to revel in and tell others about. He does not ask us to do this alone or on our own strength. He has promised to provide us with the words to say and to give us His strength to be able to live a BOLD FAITH in the workplace.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. John 14:26
Bold Faith starts with that relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We must be walking with him daily – praying, reading His Word, and interpreting events around us by His Word.
Boldness is rooted in a strong, vibrant relationship with God.
