“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13
This scripture reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles with temptation. The temptations we face are common to all humanity, and God understands what we are going through. He is faithful and promises to provide a way out of the temptation so that we can endure it. This doesn’t mean that the temptation will disappear, but it means that God will give us the strength and ability to resist it.
It’s important to note that God’s promise of a way out doesn’t mean that we will always avoid the consequences of giving in to temptation. However, it does mean that we can overcome it and grow stronger in our faith. We can trust in God’s faithfulness and rely on His strength to help us resist temptation.
As we face trials and temptations, we can hold onto the promise of 1 Corinthians 10:13 and find comfort in the fact that God is with us and will provide a way out. We can pray for His help and strength, and trust in His faithfulness to see us through.
“WATCH AND PRAY SO THAT YOU WILL NOT FALL INTO TEMPTATION. THE SPIRIT IS WILLING BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK.”
